TO SEATTLE...

Cruised up to Seattle to catch two baseball games and play a round of golf.

GOLF FRIDAY

Played a little golf again today...

4 over par after 7 holes... then I triple hole 8. Trying to save the 9... on 9... I hit a flop shot by the green, which would set up a birdie putt, the shot catches a tree branch... lands in a birds nest... and never comes down. No lie. I still don't know how to score something like that, so I took a penalty stroke, dropped, ended up shooting a 47. Stupid nest.

SF GIANTS

I'm trying to be a glass is half full guy regarding the Giants this year. But the reality is... with major injuries to Sanchez, Posey, & Sandoval... two of which are season ending... the glass is starting to feel all empty.

Who brings pens into bar bathrooms and writes on walls? And why don't I ever see it happening? And how do the establishment owners feel about these scribblings? And what's the point of it all, anyway? All questions I mulled over as I bar hopped around Portland with a friend this past weekend.
